Lammas Recipe-- Any Fruit Coffee Cake


This versatile recipe works for many Sabbats, depending on what fruits are available locally.
To make sour milk: For each cup of sour milk needed, place 1 tablespoon lemon juice or vinegar in a 1-cup measuring cup. Add enough milk to make one cup. Stir. Let the mixture sit about 5 minutes before using.
Alternatively, you can buy buttermilk powder in the baking section of any good grocery store and rehydrate what you need.
